Assistant Account Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting operational and strategic project activities and coordinating vendor registration, contributing to pricing and proposal development, and leading new project implementations. Additionally, provide ongoing support to the Country Manager by following up on client requests, collecting project quotations from suppliers, and ensuring timely submission of timesheets for existing clients.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Solid understanding of vendor registration processes and commercial documentation.
  • Experience in proposal development, pricing, and project planning.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and
  • objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external
  • Stakeholders
  • Lead and manage the vendor registration process across various platforms and ensure alignment with company compliance standards.
  • Collaborate in pricing and proposal development, gathering necessary data, preparing documentation, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Take ownership in leading new projects, ensuring end-to-end execution from initiation to delivery, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination with relevant departments.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date project files, quotations, and service documentation for all assigned accounts.
  • Monitor ongoing project performance and report any issues or delays to the Senior Account Manager.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan
  • Provide after-sales support to retain customers
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries

Job Specification/ Requirements

Knowledge & Experience 

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations, or account support.

 

Education & Certificates 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related area is required.
